PFW OOTD 2 | PFW Invite Acknowledgements

Animal Print Cover-up - Vintage
Black top - Bazaar
Black Skirt - Forever 21
Black Boots - Vintage
I love my animal print top. It actually was a gift from my mom so many thanks to her! I love the cover up very much. Its very useful and comfy. So yeah, expect to see me wear that a bit more often. And yes, black outfits are the best ever.haha. I know wearing black is playing safe. But nevertheless, it has NEVER failed me. I always feel good  when wearing black outfits. And knowing that I look good wearing black makes me feel good about myself which is a feeling that I wanna maintain.. PLUS, these boots are the best ever! Though I wouldn't mind getting an SM PARISIAN flat boots replacement when they come out. (Or have they come out already? I haven't dropped by SM Dept. Store recently).

Anyway, my whole PFW SS 2012 experience wouldn't have been possible without the help of certain key persons which I would like to acknowledge and thank here.

Thanks to my sister LAURA and my cousins
Jordy and JEN!
Thank you Miss Genn D
And I also want to thank Angel from Wonderwomanrises.blogspot.com as well. Though I'm sad though that we weren't able to have a photo together coz I wasn't feeling that well that night so di na ako mashado sumama sa mga picture picture.

Anyway thank you guys for making my PFW SS 2012 experience memorable!
Looking forward to hang out with you all soon..
Til the next PFW!

PFW SS 2012 SMDC presents Chris Diaz, Lizanne Cua, and Eric Delos Santos

FULL HOUSE at SMDC presents..
One of the fashion shows that I was privileged to attend during Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer Collection for 2012 was the one by SMDC. It was held at the SMDC Grand Showroom where Chris Diaz, Lizanne Cua, and Eric delos Santos were able to showcase their respective collections. The place was jam packed with people excited to see these fabulous pieces by these awesome designers. Here are some of the items that caught my attention.

Love the blue flowing printed dress

Amazing back detail on this one!

Love the stole/wrap!

Red Riding Hood Peg
Really loved this one!

For some reason, this outfit reminded me of Star Wars

Models at back - BLUE STOCKING trending now?
Again for some reason, it had a "futuristic"  feel to it.
though I really like the play of textures

faux fur is back?
I like this one better

Love the prints here! So cool and summery
Super like this one!
And there you have it! All three designers basking in the accolade.
with Anne Curtis wearing Eric delos Santos
All together we had a fun fun night! Initially I was with my sister Laura and Ms. Rachel of Boutique Nayeli that night. Then later on I bumped into Rachel (FashionistArchitect.blogspot.com) and other bloggers. We had a fun time trying to get seats and commenting about the whole show (right Gie? hihi!). I even bumped into one of my students. Oh diba! Anyway, that's why I like attending fashion week! Getting to learn about new stuff, meeting old and new friends, and seeing what's going to be in this coming season.

with my sister.
We are both wearing SM Parisian shoes.

Bumped into an old friend - JAIRUS.
A model in the making. Hehe. He is wearing Lizanne Cua.
He is super tall! LOL. Looking forward to see  more of him on the runway.
Hey dear coffeeholics! I have a confession to make. Honestly, if there is one thing I regret that night - that is my outfit. HAHAHA. I know right. Believe me, I look at the photos now and cringe and wonder what was I thinking? Nangarap ata ako mashado.. haha. Inititally I thought it would look cool. I even tried it on at first. When I was wearing it I felt I liked it. Its my first time to wear this kind of pants. And now looking at the photos, I realize that its fail. LOL. It just isn't going to work for my body type. The pants were vintage pa naman. I guess it would look soo much better on my sister. Hay. It just goes on to prove that I should just stick with my usual short skirts and black tops. Have you had fashion fail moments like this? Normally I wouldn't even show my "feeling ugly" photos on this blog. But hey, I still wanna keep this real. Ganun talaga, meron times fail ang wardrobe but what do you do? Just go with the flow. Learn to keep your chin up and pretend that you are wearing the most fab outfit ever. Haha. Yeah thats my secret. Anyway, since I won't do a proper OOTD, let me just show off my new pretty accessories.

All accessories I wore that day are from Girl Shoppe.

So there you have it. I have one more PFW experience to share to you all. So look forward to my take on the IPANEMA show! Anyway, below is a slideshow of the rest of the photos taken during that day.
