Meet up and Giveaways

Hi dears! I know I have been missing in action for quite some time. I apologize. What was more frustrating was the fact that its only a day to go for my giveaway and I wasn't able to promote it much this week. To make a long story short, our internet connection at our home went dead for several days and it took a while before FINALLY it was restored. If you are my Twitter follower you probably were aware of my drama and frustrated sporadic tweets this week. But anyway, all is well now and I am just happy that we have dsl again. I don't think I want to be offline for THIS long. I missed blogging definitely!

Anyway there are several things that happened during my absence which are noteworthy:

1. BONDING TIME with beauty blogger Gel from So Gelleesh! Oh yeah! This time we went to Trinoma then to SM North and had dinner at Army Navy and dessert at Gong Cha. During dinner, we met up with Jen and Sofi as well. We plan to meet up on a weekly basis! Wanna have fun hanging out with us? Follow me, Gel, or Jen on twitter to find our whereabouts. We will be hanging out at the NORTH area.

2. I FINALLY bought the TONY MOLY Nail Polish that will be part of the prize of MY GIVEAWAY. I chose this violet/lavender one coz I super duper like it! I love how it sparkles and just looking at that particular shade of lavender makes me feel so refreshed and envious of the lucky winner! The Joy of Winning Giveaways - My Kiss & Makeup

Last month, I joined Diane's My Kiss & Makeup's First Blog Giveaway and was one of the few who were late in joining. The prizes were quite amazing and I told myself, what would I lose if I joined? Nothing! So I started joining giveaways more actively during that time. The prizes were alluring enough! Makeup from e.l.f., a travel brush set, some NYX lippies, falsies, and laura mercier eye primer (THAT I wanted VERY much! LOL!).

One of the benefits of joining this giveaway was I got to know Diane. I frequent twitter a lot and that's how we got to know each other some more! Giveaways help you meet new people, learn new things from them, and in some cases let you earn real friends. I'd like to think that through this giveaway I gained a new friend in Diane and now have a new "group" of blogger friends (tweeties or tweetarts! a shoutout to you all lovelies!) whom I enjoy bantering with at Twitter.

Of course nothing beats the actual feeling of winning! I never thought that I'd win! Secretly I already prepped myself that since I was a late entry, the possibility of me winning was quite slim. Still I hoped and prayed about it. Yes, I do pray whenever I join coz I mean, what's the purpose of joining if you don't wish to win!  AND well looks like my prayers work! Would you believe that out of all the names to be chosen (more than a thousand entries I think?), I WON 2ND PRIZE! I was sooooo ecstatic when I found out that really did jump up and down! This was like a day after I won my first giveaway. It feels so good to win something like this and yeah, super KILIG ng bonggang bongga ang feeling ko when I found out I won. The Joy of Winning Giveaways - TinyPinkBow

Hi Coffeeholics! Yes, that's right. The title just says it all! I've been blogging here for more than a year. And around almost 5 months of those as a fashion fasyon blogger. In the time that I've been blogging, it was only this month that I started to be super actively joining giveaways that all the numerous awesome and generous bloggers out there. So imagine my surprise and dismay about the whole DTI permit for bloggers issue came up. I was really saddened because I have never won yet! UNTIL.. NOW! Yiheee!

When I found out that I won, I was super thrilled! It was my first time to win a giveaway. And it was quite apt that the first giveaway that I won was an accessory one. Do you know that Kat also has another online shop -yummycharms.multiply.com? She also sells accessories in this shop but more specifically -- super cute CLAY accessories which looks like it was all done by hand. I'm not sure if it is Kat herself who makes them but I'm just so impressed with the way it was done! The detail that is made for each little piece is astounding. I fell in love with the very cute designs (confession - I used to be very much into anime, manga, and other japanese related cutesy stuff! so this was hard to resist!). AND I couldn't resist ordering two pair of earrings from her shop. Check it out!
